How DOCTRAVIA keeps its online store safe, lawful and secure

1.1 DOCTRAVIA FOR ECOMMERCE W.L.L. (CR No. 194877-1, Kingdom of Bahrain) is an online retailer of service packages in education, travel and healthcare. We sell in our own name as seller of record. We are not a bank or a payment service provider, we do not hold customer funds and we do not operate accounts, balances or wallets for customers or partners.
2.1 Checkout payments are processed for us by licensed payment service providers. Card data is collected and processed on PCI DSS certified infrastructure of our payment partners. DOCTRAVIA does not store full card numbers.
3.1 Before a partner institution is listed, we verify its registration, licences and accreditations, its governing officers and its beneficial owners, and we refresh these checks periodically and on trigger events.
4.1 We screen partner institutions, their officers and beneficial owners and, where relevant, orders against the sanctions lists of the United Nations, the United States (OFAC), the European Union and the United Kingdom. We do not deal with designated persons and we do not sell services delivered in or to comprehensively sanctioned territories. Screening is repeated on a regular basis.
5.1 We do not accept cash. We monitor orders for signs of fraud and abuse, request additional verification where needed, support the anti-money-laundering controls of our payment partners, and report suspicious activity where required by applicable law.
6.1 Refund terms are shown before payment for every order, and complaints are handled under our Complaints Handling Policy. Customers in Bahrain may also apply to the Consumer Protection Directorate of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
